Give me the gory details. I suffered once this morning (getting a possibly malignant birthmark removed from my face) from it, had to go to school, tried to nibble my pizza...and my cheek swelled up to the size of a baseball. I'm not exaggerating. They had to drain it...and unless you've heard those words directed at you, you have no idea how much those words make your stomach turn. Good news though, I got 'Buried Fire' today, so I'll leave a review on that...I was going to get Leap, but I just looked at it and went 'ehh'.

This is my day. I will feast on stir fry and dance.

When I was around six, I was learning how to climb the monkey bar. It was a tall one in some senior school yard. My mother's friend held me up to help me get the use of it, but when he let go, I fell and landed flat on my face. It was a rly tall bar. I had a very bloody lip and I couldn't feel my jaw area. I was rushed to the clinic where they stiched my lip up and now there' s a little scar right below it. Not gory, but hey lol. It's barely visible now. :lol:

I'm far too sensible to shred my face like that.

Sensible is getting a birthmark removed because of the notion that it could become cancerous and kill.

So...when I was 5, I was running near the construction zone of our garage on my grandparents' property. There were many big glass pieces on the cemented terrain nearby (to this day I don't know why, I'll ask my grandparents when I see them again). So I was running (how clever), tripped on a cable, and fell scratching my knees badly. I coudln't feel them and they were really bloody. My grandfather dragged me into the house and somebody put some colored water that really burned. I think it was a purplish/red color and it really burned the skin. I can't remember the name for it. ^^ I do remember it was a bright color, but I can't tell if it was green or red. I'm not colorblind, it just that there are two colors in my mind for the scene. Maybe the red was when they washed off the wounds a bit with normal water, and green for that medice. I don't remember. Not goury, but all I could think of. :P

Anyway, I once feel head first into a single glazed pane of glass, got a nice scar on my forehead now.

Then there was acute appendicitis when i was 12. Another day and i would have died, as the doctors said. Got another scar there too.

Iodine's a sort of brown colour. Potassium permanganate is pink-red.

I have a scar across the knuckles of my right hand. Got run over by an ice skate. That's about the limit of my serious injuries.

i have always been lucky. never got seriously injured. once the car i was in went of the road. flipped 3 times and landed in a ditch. i got nothing more than......wait...i actually got nothing.....

Never had surgery, in fact, I can count the amount of time spent there with my fingers.

As a todler I was diagnosed with strabismis(sp?). Thats when your eyes cross and you get weird double-vision. Wore glasses til the 1st grade when my parents decided to let me just have the surgery. They drugged me up with some medication that was supposed to make me sleepy. Yeah right! Did the exact opposite; I was bouncing off the walls. My doctor, Richard Pachoinne, disconnected a few of the muscles that control eye movement and reconnected them in a different place. After surdery, i didn't even remember getting anastesia. My eye was blood-red. Roumors circulated that either(1) my eye was removed or(2) it was repaced with someone elses. Anyway, I still wear glasses because now my other eye is doing the same thing. I cant have the surdery again because the pain of it increases with age. Oh well...

Another thing: a few years ago, I was chasing my sister around the house when I fell. I got up a little annoyed because my sister got away. My mouth was kind of numb from the fall. My mom looked up from the newspaper and freaked out. Wiping a hand across my lip, I realized how much I was bleeding. I saturated two washcloths with the blood pouring out my mouth from where my tooth had went through it. At the ER they said that stitches wouldn't help with the scarring. Bull! I've got a huge bump in my mouth right beneath my bottom lip making my mouth a little lopsided,especially when I smile. Also, I often bite it while eating making it swell up even more! O well, thats life! ^_^
