Them actually speaking in a british accent? I know they live in London, but, It impossible for me.
And besides, giving charges in that accent will make it easy for djinns mispronounce, right? :magic:

Half the time I do, half the time I don't.

I depends on which characters they are and how I picture them.

where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry

In my head, Barti sounds like the narrator of the American series Arrested Development. Jane and Nat would have a posh British accent, like my British lecturers. Kitty would sound like Keira Knightley.
Nothing to see here, move along.

I am a Brit, so I can't imagine them in anything other than an English accent.

Yeah, I have a problem with constantly imagining the characters speaking with an American accent, but then I catch myself and try to imagine them with British accents instead.

It's a long hard battle.

I imagine Harry Potter characters in American accents.

But in this book I have no problem. I must admit Bart sounds like Simon Jones.

I get the actor's voices stuck in my head for HP.

I'm weird...i can never think of their voices in my head unless im totally concentrating on the story...then i guess Nat sounds like an MP and Kitty sounds like a typical cockney and Bart's voice lacks any accent...

I don't go by actors, except for LOTR. It's weird.

MP?

I hear voices when I read.

Barti has an accent, but it isn't as strong as the rest of the character's. Maybe it's because he has to change it so much whenever he changes form.

Jane has a high, soft, voice, but when she gets angry her voice becomes rough.

I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

Thanks for that.

Jane sounds snotty to me.

When she's trying to charm people she has the high, soft voice. Any other time she sounds like a snot, just like what Ianna said.

How does Jessica Whitwell sound to you?

She sounds frail sometimes, but powerful at others. In the death scene I pictured her to have a more noble voice...

I've never imagined Whitewell as 'frail.'

I'm pretty sure she's been described as 'formidable' before. (But I could be wrong.)

I imagined her voice rather authoritative.

I thought of it as the whole don't judge a book by it's cover.

Authoritive is the right word for her encounters with the council.
