cause like the bartimaeus books started around when i was around elementary school to junior high school age. back then, the only fantasy book series i knew were harry potter obviously, lord of the rings, narnia, the golden compass, and eragon. that's it.
now i just got into high school and my friend recommended me to read the amulet of samarkand after 2 months school started (since she was reading it as well). after that, i finished the whole trilogy by the end of winter break. then while i was looking for some bartimaeus related websites, i realized that a lot of ppl knew about the series and that the trilogy ended like a year ago, and i was all like "why haven't i heard about this before?" i just felt like...i got left out or something.
of course, that could happen to some ppl, and bartimaeus is a good series after all, but isn't it sad when mostly everyone has heard about a good movie or book, except you? :(
