Not quite, human nature is to save yourself, yes, but to save your fellow man too.
Think about this-
The Three Laws of Robotics-
1st. A Robot may not harm a human being, or through inaction allow a human to come to harm.
2nd.A Robot must follow an order given by a human, unless it conflicts with the 1st law.
3rd.A Robot must protect it's existance, as long as said protection doesn't violate the first and second law of robotics.
The same applies to a human being.
A good person will not kill another, and will try n save someone in harm, like a fire or something, and also, a good person listens to his elders- his docter, lawyer, parents.
And as always, we try to sva eour own skin.
thats human nature.
