And the last enemy that shall be conquered is death.

:P

Personally I think cremation is better tho.
in cremation all that's left of you is your teeth.

I wouldn't want people remembering me by my teeth

I don't want worms to eat my body!
why would you care? you'd be dead.

Personally, I think the Culture (Iain M Banks books) has the right idea: Displace bodies into the centre of the local star.
Or the Dwellers (different Iain M Banks book) - drop bodies down onto the core of the local gas giant.

You're still dead.

You take up more space if you're buried. What about The Giver way? If you get what I mean.

You are remembered by the things you did on Earth. Not by your dead body, or teeth.

I've seen a cremated person.

Never noticed teeth, just ashes.

But when you get cremated, they dont always send YOUR ashes to your family. They usually just get some random guys ashes she scooped out of the big ash bin.

I think she was joking.

You were joking, right?

I think I'm going to be cremated.

Saves on funeral costs, most likely.

That and it'd tick off most of the people in my church and family.

It's your funeral. People shouldn't really be worried about cost, since it's the last time they'll see your body.

Also you should leave them something nice in your will. :)

They can see it before its pitched into the flames.

I'll leave you all my digital diaries.

I have none.....so I'll make some up.

If I'm rich enough, I'm having my body fired into the sun.
Always wanted to go out with a bang... maybe I'll save on costs by going halves on the launch fee with a scientific mission to study the sun...
