It said she was missing, presumed dead.

Mr. Stroud probably ment dead, and added a subtle edge for a bit of shallow sarcasm.

Sent, I do believe, has answered that.
Too bad the dollar's down the toilet now...
Who was Jane again?
Oh, yeah....
She went on to deal with the commoners, as Kitty went off to....
Whatever she did after the events of PG

Thank goodness, I really really didnt like her. I was actually quite happy that she was presumed to be dead.

She's dead all right. If she wasn't, she'd be back at her politics by the end of book 3.
When I set out from the boy's attic window, my head was so full of competing plans and complex strategems that I didn't look where I was going and flew straight into a chimney.

Something symbolic in that. It's what fake freedom does for you.

Dead and eaten, hopefully.
I'm not too picky on by what, but eaten works for me.

Nope...
Actually...
Possible.
The books implies she survived Nouda, but I suppose it's possible she didn't.
Still doubt it.

I would say she died. It's the 3rd Law of Fantastical Fiction. If the main character dies at the end of a book, then his enemies should too. Thus, she died.

:good: That would be a fitting end. She has never shown any lycanthropic tendencies, and with werewolfes often being in "murderous frenzies" (GE), she was probably eaten.

Nice.
Like I said, eaten, I don't care by what.
