Sorry, for some reason I'm constantly getting Jim Butcher and Jeff Lindsay mixed up. :D

Why, I have no idea.

And the Shipping News, which is less unberable than I thought it would be, but still... blah.
I'm getting a server error.

I'm rereading Ptolemy's Gate.

William Blake's stuff (*poetry*), annotated by various people. He actually wrote "And did those feet in ancient time", which makes him even more awesome than he was before in my mind.

Oh, what? It didn't show? Arggh. *tries again* Nope, looks like TVTropes just hates me. Ferget it, wasn't important.

Yeah, if I can read it before the school library needs it back. Freaking 800 pages... *grumble*

If you don't finish it, return it to the library and take it out again the next day >>

I'M NOT BRITISH. That song is rare here. I've only ever heard it at faux-Last Night of the Proms at the local Anglican church.

I have had Game of Thrones sitting on my shelf for almost a year now. Sigh.

Bah, Thrones had to go back to the library while I took out some stuff for a school project. Now it's gone. Of course, I'm not even sure I want to commit myself to a few 1000 pg books when it looks like the series will never actually get finished. Worth it?

White Night - Jim Butcher.

Makes more sense for you as you seem to get all sorts of books for free in your libraries.

I went to the bookshop today and I felt like crying. I saw some good books there but I know I won't be able to read them. I already bought a few books this year and I don't want to buy more this soon. And obviously, nothing good is available in the few stupid libraries that exist :'(.

Now reading The Cuckoo's Egg - Cliff Stoll, a classic of hacker culture literature; the true story of an astrophysicist-turned-hacker who, in the mid 80s, is asked to track down the source of a 75 cent accounting error in their mainframe, and discovers evidence of and sets out to track down the cracker responsible.
