The Last Siege was better than Halli, imo.

That's a difficult question. I'd say I think Heroes was marginally better than Last Siege, but they're both pretty damn good.

Yes, because Eragon is so much better.
Correct.

Fail.
I haven't read the book in question, but I fail to see how it can be worse than Eragon.
See, I like Paolini, mostly.
They get better as they go along, but Eragon's style was horrible...

We're slowly converting Dansariki into Paolini-hate.

You're next DC.

Nero/DC, why is the book so great/terrible?

Well, it's (according to the back cover) written from the perspective of a severely autistic kid, at which it fails, and ends up portraying someone very slow (and very annoying >>). This kid tries to be a detective and find out who killed their neighbour's dog (wtf), and finds out it's his dad, who killed the dog because he was jealous that the dog's owner was giving the dog more attention.

Does that sound like a winning formula to you?

One: Thanks for ruining the ending.
Two: Back Covers always lie. It's best if you learn this early. It's not really the author's fault either.

Either way, until I obtain money or a library card, I'm not reading it.

Library cards are free! Go, make use of the tax dollars your parents pay!

Understatement, because it's brilliant.
Amongst other things that would take too long to type, i learned that the Ku Klux Klan heirarchy includes an: "Exalted Cyclops and his 12 Terrors, a Grand Dragon and his nine Hydras and the Imperial Wizard and his 15 Genii." And they also add Kl to every word, to make it offical. For example, their meeting place is a "Klavern" and a Klokann is a "5 man investigative committee"

Also,
As horrified as i am that I ended up as number 1 on this list, now i have a way of introducing Luciene to my friends as a potential name for their kids. (One n only, because 2 is so mainstream)
Not when you've lost yours. Five bucks (back to money issues now), which I already paid back in September. Always seem to lose it while riding the bus.

I'm not really a Paolini hater.
I never liked him a whole lot, until Brisinger came out.
Now I'm back to neutral, I used to swing between love & hate.

I certainly never read it on the premise that the protagonist was autistic (I don't read back covers). Kid has problems, yes. Autism, no. The author's never claimed he's autistic either, as that article points out..

Fortunately for Fuzzy, he's only spoiled about the first half of the book (from memory), and certainly not the ending.

It's a good book.

Hmm. You sound like the people the kid seems to (infer) to condemn.

And clearly you've missed all the more significantly awesome parts in your very biased synopsis. Like how the kid (name escapes me at the moment) solves this easily.
