The Last Siege was better than Halli, imo.

y/n?
That's a difficult question. I'd say I think Heroes was marginally better than Last Siege, but they're both pretty damn good.Luciene wrote:The Last Siege was better than Halli, imo.

That's 'cos you haven't read it *shudder*Dansariki wrote:I haven't read the book in question, but I fail to see how it can be worse than Eragon.
Well, it's (according to the back cover) written from the perspective of a severely autistic kid, at which it fails, and ends up portraying someone very slow (and very annoying >>). This kid tries to be a detective and find out who killed their neighbour's dog (wtf), and finds out it's his dad, who killed the dog because he was jealous that the dog's owner was giving the dog more attention.FuzzyLobster wrote:Nero/DC, why is the book so great/terrible?
Understatement, because it's brilliant.Post wrote:Freakonics is interesting.
I certainly never read it on the premise that the protagonist was autistic (I don't read back covers). Kid has problems, yes. Autism, no. The author's never claimed he's autistic either, as that article points out..David Cat wrote:Well, it's (according to the back cover) written from the perspective of a severely autistic kid, at which it fails, and ends up portraying someone very slow (and very annoying >>). Does that sound like a winning formula to you?
Hmm. You sound like the people the kid seems to (infer) to condemn.David Cat wrote:Well, it's (according to the back cover) written from the perspective of a severely autistic kid, at which it fails, and ends up portraying someone very slow (and very annoying >>).
