Yeah, I have heard of there, Kittyjones. A friend of mine went there for his holiday a few weeks back. He came home with an ear infection.

So since you've heard of Corfu (a fact that amazes me .... :P ) can you see why I suffer???There's no library on the island :( , and it's really hard to get English books from bookshops.....So the only way to get books is from Amazon .... and even then it takes a week to get posted to Greece... ^o)

But I'm going to the UK in 3 days so I'm just going to sit around all day reading books that I've been wanting to order off Amazon and never gotten round too .... :D

And obviously I'm going to buy Breaking Dawn as soon as I get off the plane...!!! :P

No....Library.....? I don't think I could survive. I always need a dose of fiction before I fall asleep. It's probably what keeps me as sane as I am. What's your mother tongue? I suppose Amazon adds on a massive surcharge for the postage. :-/ But most bookshops will have it fairly visible; my local Waterstones has already put it at #1 in it's young adult chart.

Neuromancer is awesome. The so-called "first cyberpunk" novel.
Yea, it's actually not that bad. I really liked the end.

Heart of Darkness-Joseph Conrad

Yay.

I was reading a book called the Hamlet Murders, but I gave up since it was really boring. So now I'm reading Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrel by Susanna Clarke. I tried reading it over a year ago, but after exams finished it had to go back to the library.

Yes ... No library.... :'( ....That's why I'm looking forward to going back to the UK....

My mother tongue is English , but seeing as no one really reads books here , the bookshops on the island are very poorly stocked.....I mean they have Greek books and some basic English ones but not many fantasy and fiction books.....And you can't even order them!!! ^o) ....So the only way is Amazon or Ebay .... Either way postage is quite expensive so whenever I go over to the UK I stock up on books.... :P

I've already reserved a copy of Breaking Dawn at the WHSmmith at the airport , so it's going to be the first place I go when I get off the plane.... :D

I'm currently reading Macbeth right now for English (had to start all over again after I read that other play, which was horrible)

Or you know, Nessie and Jacob dying.

Cause I seriously dislike both of them.

I got Breaking Dawn yesterday (when I arrived in the UK) .... I'm on page 500 and something , and until now I can't quite make my mind up whether I like it or not.... ^o) .....

I didn't like the whole baby thing , and generally it hasn't been as good as I had expected it to be , up until now....So i'm hoping it will pick up in the last two hundred pages.... :ermm:
