I can't
stand The Wall. It's one gigantic ego-trip for Roger Waters. He was too busy telling the story to remember it was supposed to be music. It's a double album of yawn-inducingness. The only good bit is Gilmour's guitar solo on Comfortably Numb. Even Another Brick Pt 2 isn't great, though it is catchy.
To quote my guitar teacher, "he's just another prick who's bought The Wall".
My favourite albums are, in approximate order, Wish You Were Here, Division Bell, and Dark Side of the Moon. Echoes from Meddle is also fantastic, but the rest of the album isn't so great.
