My teacher. Talking.
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

The Saga Begins-Weird Al is awesome

My school only blocks certain programs on the internet. I am surprised they haven't blocked this forum yet. But our Librarian chooses what to block and she likes me so hopefully she will let me continue coming on.

Haha. I can get to anything I want, even if its blocked.

How? I go on the .fr versions of blocked sites like msn. They blocked all forums as well

Oh, and some people download Firefox, but they always suspend you in the end, when they find out.

The filter doesn't work on Firefox? That's bizarre. It works on whatever web browser you use at our school.

we can only use IE at our school. and they block all things like .fr
I love that, after years of not using this forum, my average posts per day is 0.7

Nope. I think the filter checks all incoming traffic and alters it as needed, rather than affecting individual browsers. My evidence: I've plugged a Linux laptop into the network and connected with Konqerer and it filtered.

My school's got all sorts of different blocks. I can pass 'em when I want, but my fav sites aren't blocked anyway.

The school doesn't actually block any of the sites I regularly visit at the moment... the main problem is their version of IE is so monumentally bad, it sees syntax errors where none exist. Connect to google. "Syntax error!" popup.
The instant you try and connect to somewhere remotely complicated like, say, here, you're bombarded with dozens of error messages per page.
What's really odd is that some days it works perfectly and some days it sees even more syntax errors than normal.
