TNT is outdated. C4 is the way to go. It's 1.34 times as powerful as TNT apparently.

Also more reliable and easier to smuggle (it looks just like modeling clay, if you keep it sealed in plastic wrap and hide a detonator in a pen, you can get past airport security with it)
