Mad is also a synonym of insane, and it has a VERY negative connotation.

Hehe, there are other things that drive me insane (like huge tests in school, flies getting near my lamp desk, etc). So I'm ok and I don't mind if people go crazy here (If it gets too crazy for me, that's when I'll stay back for a while XD). Plus, my friends are insane and turn very hyper a lot, so that's why I'm used to it, I think. On a side note, is there such as a thing as being half insane?

Now that I think of it, I don't think telling newbies that we're insane isn't quite welcoming. It's best if you figure it out on their own, when it won't do much harm.
