Running mates are the people that get the Vice President spot, under Obama or McCain.
One can't just run for Vice-President, the pres. candidates must pick you.

Saw a Dr.Phil or something once where the little kid tried (twice) to kill his mom, the entire family the second time.

Yeah, over here there were a few (three, I think) elementary students who plotted to kill their teacher. They had duct tape and a knife and everything. But they couldn't be charged because they were under 12 (little kids can get away with anything, unfortunately). Which I doubt is much comfort to their future teachers. :P

I remember that.
A kid once got into his moms car, got it going (engine and all) and hit a lightpole.
when the news came to do a story on the kid, they put him in the car for a shot.
When no one was looking , off he went, hitting another car this time.
Lightpole: ~$1500
Damaged to Truck: ~$2500
Kids that cause havok without intention: Priceless/

Yep. I remember a cop saying that that rule was stupid, as more and more kids were learning too many things too fast and it all collided into one big screwed up childhood.

Well, I only remember the cop saying that law should be changed. Not that latter bit. That's my two cents.

I once read in a Dear Abby letter that a 5-year-old actually killed his teacher. I forgot how he killed her though.

And this also reminds me of that House episode where this 6-year-old girl started to go through puberty...

ugh, that one was awful. although 6 is only 2 years younger than a few people i know. they started at 8 and were like wtf?
