There was, at one point, a slow and generally irritating script that replaced oversized sig images with a warning image (actually, I'm fairly sure it was featuring the ban afrit..), but that's been gone for ages. Definitely since Zetaboards, and I think before that..

Though I seriously have to agree with you, there are millions of kids that say they want to run from mom, but end up returning within a few hours, mostly because of needs.
