We have a band, then! We need a name. (David, if you're reading this and suggest anything to do with velociraptors I will HUNT YOU DOWN.)
Suggestions, mostly, but not entirely, derived from random IRC conversations, sometimes involving sessions with the Band Name Generator:
We Haven't Met But You're A Big Fan Of Ours
The Larger Hadron Colliders (sadly, this is someone else's Rock Band band)
Beige Cubicles and Broken Dreams
Amphibious Zombie Whales
Ninja Through Faith
Dramatic Ninja

And finally, my personal favourite:
Gloomy Bear Damage
Sentynel - Head Ninja, Admin, Keeper of the Ban Afrit, Official Forum Graphics Guy, and forum code debugger.
A still more glorious dawn awaits, not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise, a morning filled with 400 billion suns - the rising of the Milky Way
Me and Sent spent nearly an hour one night generating band names containing 'ninja'. My favourite was Ninja Kumquat.
sentynel is gay
Nodle Broad and the Candyculturalists
Fascist Factory
Alligatorgasm

Anyway, listening to
YYZ - Rush
The Quest for Tanelorn - Blind Guardian
Oops, guess this isn't the listening to thread after all. ._.

Win.

No room for me. Oh well, I have no sense of rhythm.

Rock Band's four-instrument limit makes me sad. I want keyboards! Rhythm guitar, too!

Keyboards would be too complex for the majority of the public, and a simplified keyboard would be lame. Plus there's not a lot of songs with keyboards.

But overall yes keyboards and rhythm guitars would be epic.

Yeah, I know, but on the other hand songs with invisible keyboardists playing are daft. Case in point: Highway Star - Deep Purple. The invisible keyboardist gets an awesome solo. ...

I agree, it'd be bloody difficult to implement - you need enough keys that it's not hopelessly easy (and to give both hands something to play, at least on harder difficulties) but without making the controller stupidly complicated, and you also need to fit the notes onto the screen. You could do it having actual musical notation scrolling across the screen in the same sort of way vocals do (stylised, obviously, not straight musical notation), but I fear that's getting too complicated for a game.

That solo is unbelievably epic.

Yep.
First time I heard it, I actually didn't think it was a keyboard.
'course, I was little, but still.

You could be official band cowbell player.
I've got a fever... and the only cure... is more cowbell!

To the topic, I like Batman: Arkham Asylum, am still playing CoD4: MW and will be buying the MW2 the day it comes out, like all the GTA games and will be getting IV in the mail soon (never actually owned it, just played it elsewhere).
That's about it.
Oh, and looking forward to tons of things.

Yay!

I'm still hoping against hope that a Battlefront III pops up somewhere, I really liked II.

I was best, though limited.

Never played it.
I actually had online with II, and liked that a lot.
Ah, the early days of online...

Both III and IV were cancelled, according to Kotaku.

There never really was a IV. Some concept art, including a Sith Obi-Wan (!!!), leaked awhile ago.
Rumors floated around a long time ago, but it's pretty much dead.
