Hi uhh..... I new here so........hi? I really love the books, and needed some people to chat about them with so I joined and stuff.... I tried talking to my friends but they just looked at me funny and asked me why I bothered reading 'big' books and that it must have taken me forever to read them and yada yada yada. It actually only took me three weeks to finish the series, mostly due to the fact that I had to wait a week before getting the third one after I finished the second. And the books aren't really that long I mean I've read bigger so I don't see the problem. But anyway I'm glad I found someplace where I can actually talk to people who have read the series. I've never met anyone who've even heard of them before soo....... ^_^

BT definitely deserves more fame.

I know, people seriously need to read more. It drives me nuts. I love the series, and I'm really happy about the new book coming out, but their really not that long.

Well, there are a lot of people here who read loads of different kinds of books.
And it is quite weird that no one else seems to know many other people who read the BT books. I know over ten people and I used to think it was a small number.

I was introduced to the series by a friend, but otherwise I don't know anyone away from the internet (or at least who I didn't originally meet on the internet) who's read them.

Like I said, that is weird. Sure, five of those twelve people (yeah, I counted properly. There could probably be one or two more) who read the books were introduced to it by me. But the rest weren't.

I've recommended the series to several friends, but only one of them has actually taken my advice and read it. Or at least tried to. She's had my copy of the 1st book for a few weeks now, and she's only one the 7th chapter :ermm: ........... I found the series by randomly picking it up at the library.

And that is why we need the movie. Or the graphic novels (which, unlike the movie, we are definitely getting). It is pathetic that some passable books get so much the fame while these wonderful books don't.

Hello Marlin. I have indeed successfully gotten a friend to try them. Don't know if he finished though. I'm pretty sure some of my other friends (ok one friend, most of them aren't too much into books) have read it.
