Dear Mr. Stroud,

I'm writing a fanfiction and I was wondering what would you think about my idea.

When a magician summons a "new" demon it is the time when it's born. [oh my bad english...] so... If a very powerful magician summons two "new" demons they are like twins in our world aren't they? Human twins have a very strong relationship, so it's obvious that creatures from the Other Place would have too...

So what do you think? :)

Thanks for this - a very interesting concept that I hadn't thought about before...

I think you might be right in a way. A 'demon' is created when a chunk of essence is brought forth and separated from the OP for the first time: so if that essence was drawn to our world and immediately divided by some complex ritual into two, then the two resulting spirits might well be very similar. I think it's a fascinating idea...
