Determinedly steers the thread back off topic. Wheee!

It came out on the 15th of July over here. I've got a copy, but I've got some library books to finish, so I've only read the first few chapters.

But yeah, Honorius is cool.

lol, i finished the time paradox on july. 18th. I got it a day late.
I retracted my wing briefly, held the boy so he had a quick view of the square.
"Take a look," I said. "Which house do you think has the thinnest walls?"

For a moment, he was uncomprehending. Then his eyes widened. "You're
not---"

"That one? With the pink shutters? Yes, maybe you're right. Well, let's see..."

Wouldn't that be three days late?

I think he meant he bought it the day after it came out and then finished it on the 18.

honorius was great. He said the most random and funny things. That always bored people.... then he ate them! : )

Don't forget me! :P 'Cause it's the Dansariki/Nero spam team. :D

OK, now back on topic before Sentynel pulls out the ban stick.

The odd thing was that although Honorius considered himself free, he still went suicidal against the golem. Weird.

And since the formula is that most insane people don't know they're insane (with the exception of Bartiforums), I don't think Honorius really did want to be free of the world....right?

Au contraire, dear Nero. His suicide is the greatest expression of free will he present in the book: he choose to do that, and it killed him, as he knew it would.
I don't think it's a question of whether or not he truly wanted to be 'free', especially seeing as how he was.
He could do whatever he wanter, and he did, right up to choosing his time, place, and manner of death.
If you'll notice, any comic books featuring the Joker (or any medium, for that matter), you'll never read him being called 'insane'.
Insane and insanity are legal terms, not medical ones.
Likewise, insane is never seen in the trilogy where Honorious is discussed.

True... :P
Congrats! ;)

I don't think he was insane.....He had just been trapped so long on earth that he finally got fed up of it and decided too kill himself...

Nah, it's contradictory to his thoughts of and happiness with freedom.

Nero, I can write some seriously long posts, idk if that's my longest here.
