Hmm, except for the blue eyes (and controlling the four -plus some odd ones- elements), yeah!

In the same vein, we'd have Mako as a grumpy Lockwood, Bolin as a dark-haired and less bookish George, and Asami as a racebent Holly.

Yesss exactly!! That's what I thought of when watching the show :D
I suppose this would be excellent for Holly/Lucy shippers.
To be honest Lucy's eye color isn't stated, so she could have blue eyes for all we know :) And they're both super super powerful, one with elements and the other with talking to ghosts.

Just tell me they don't strongly resemble Lucy, Lockwood, and George:

As to Lucy's eye-colour, word of Stroud is that she has brown eyes, which was strange because I imagined her with grey ones.
