The Hollow Boy

Lockwood & Co.
Aaah, is this the summary already?
As a supernatural outbreak baffles Scotland Yard and causes protests against the psychic agencies throughout London, Lockwood and Co. continue to demonstrate their effectiveness in exterminating spirits. Anthony is dashing, George insightful, and Lucy dynamic, while the skull in the jar utters sardonic advice from the sidelines. There is a new spirit of openness between the team now that Anthony has shared his childhood story, and Lucy is feeling more and more like her true home is at Portland Row. It comes as a great shock, then, when Lockwood and George introduce her to an annoyingly perky and hyper-efficient new assistant, Holly Munro. Meanwhile, there are reports of many new hauntings, including an old school where bloody handprints and a glowing boy are appearing. But ghosts seem to be the least of Lockwood and Co.'s concerns when a living assassin makes an attempt on Fittes's and Rotwell's lives. Can the team get past their interpersonal issues to save the day on all fronts? Danger abounds, tensions escalate, and new loyalties form in this third delightfully terrifying adventure.

Since when does Lockwood call himself Anthony?
Sounds exciting! Though it's a bit early for a summary, isn't it? Stroud said he still needed a few months for the first draft...

The "name change" could have something to do with the "new spirit of openness between the team".
I cannot assess if the summary is believable or not, although the website seems quite thrustworthy.

I'll have to get used to that then. He'll probably always be Lockwood first and Anthony second in my mind.

Yes, it will be a little bit odd and unfamiliar indeed. Probably everyone got used to Lockwood already. But maybe he will reveal his second name.
I wonder if the assassin is a member of the Orpheus Society or even the guy who talked to Penelope in the library.

They were bound to expand sometime. I hope she will be really cool and make fun of Lockwood.

A new girl, eh? GOOD. VERY GOOD. I LOOK FORWARD TO THAT.

Apparently, she's 'annoyingly perky.' Or maybe Holly's just really optimistic and happy all the time, and Lucy finds that annoying. :)

It would be funny if Stroud pulled a Legend of Korra on us with those two, but he always tends to keep relationships with his characters vague at best so that's not going to happen.

Not that I'm complaining though; its nice to read books where romance is not of great importance to the plot. Still, I look forward to her! Sounds like she may be a nice foil.

Well, Lucy doesn't get along with other girls, look what she thought of those sensitives. I hope that Holly finds a good place in the team.

Are you implying they should hook up together? I'm rooting for George/Lucy, and I'm hoping for Lockwood/Holly in that case.
