Personally, I don't think a movie will ever be made. There's been a recent influx of fantasy movies based on books, and most of them have flopped.

But that was rare.

And Bart, sorry, is no LOTR--it won't get that kind of budget or confidence.

Ever since LOTR, I don't think these movies are trying to be original these days...

Just an idea, but I wonder what would happen if they made a TV mini-series of Bart instead.

I don't know if that would work, without being lame if it were live action.

The special effects are so important.

Like I keep saying, keep the humans live-action, use CGI for the Spirits.

Yes, but there would be quite a lot of CGI involved. And CGI does not always look good. Check out the beavers in Narnia or Eragon's blue chicken.

Don't tell me that's Saphira. If it is, I'd rather prefer the picture on the front cover. (Well, at least that's how I imagined her as I was reading the book) <_<

I guess that is Saphira........... :hmm: .

The movies have a disadvantage though. They destroy your image of the characters. I had envisaged the HP trio quite differently before the movies released. Now, I have NO IDEA how they looked to me previously.

Yeah, I know...that sucks.
I hope Stroud gets to select all the main characters. He would know.

Then again, Stroud might not agree with everyone else's point of view...

JKR thought that seeing Daniel Radcliffe audition was like "looking for her long lost son", so she thought he was the perfect Harry, and now look how many people disagree with her...

No. It's a vicious lie started by Paolini, because he knows Bartimaeus>Eragon.

Really? I never liked Paolini's Eragon, but this has gone too far...
Post, we're going to war...:P
Stroud? SMOKING? Where in the world did you hear Paolini say that?

He didn't. I was being sarcastic, and it was mean of me. I don't blame you two, though. Hard to tell through this way of communication.
