Good enough.
Shame of the Super Son
Thats so cool. I do archery, but guns are cooler. I want to fence, but there is nowhere around here to learn. My gym teacher was talking about having a class on both archery and fencing, but he thinks that our school won't approve. *sobs*Sentynel wrote: I do archery and fencing in real life. I beat you all.
AIONIOSBah, guns are boring. No skill required at all.Adele wrote:Thats so cool. I do archery, but guns are cooler. I want to fence, but there is nowhere around here to learn. nat was only infatuated with jane. he actually loves kitty.Luciene wrote: The books have JJ in it. It's one of the reasons why I can't wait 'til GE the movie!
Oh, Canada...It's fiction. What I believe true is true.wrote:Sorry Luciene but it's true. It's like in school when a guy likes this bitchy, popular, cheerleader type just because she's well, that. But when he meets a girl who's more of the nice, strong-spirited type, who doesn't use him just to get what she wants he starts liking her more.
Pish. That's not skill, that's just not being a hyperactive sugar-fueled maniac.Luciene wrote: Not true! You have to have good aim and you have to hold your self perfectly still.
that's what makes them so terrible for each other. there's no balance. and nat respects kitty, not jane. he just thinks jane is attractive.Luciene wrote: Jane is more his equal that Kitty. They like the same stuff. Like Power. He understands and respects her more. And he likes a challenge.
We. Need. BFGs.rubberchickenben wrote: Try to shoot a sniper when you're high on coffee. :D

Yeah, I know. My other weak point are the tenses.Artemis wrote: And don't worry BlueMermaid, your english is actually pretty good. Some of the words are in the wrong order, but that doesn't matter. Did you put up an introduction yet? In english, Bartimaus is spelled "Bartimaeus". Actually the german spelling makes a bit more sense to me. How do Germans pronounce it?
AIONIOSHave you ever played with those toy bows?wrote:I think that guns and bows take the same amount of skill to aim or what not, but arrows are concentrated in a definated space so you have to be sure to hit the target, where bullets are more spread out with bb's(or however) and aiming isn't as important.
Bart-tim-Maeuswrote:And how exactly is Bartimaeus pronounced?
The difference between guns and bows, and it's a crucial difference, is that guns have sights and the bullets always leave the barrel in precisely the same way. Depending on the angle you have an arrow it can go in completely different directions if you don't know what you're doing.Adele wrote: I think that guns and bows take the same amount of skill to aim or what not, but arrows are concentrated in a definated space so you have to be sure to hit the target, where bullets are more spread out with bb's(or however) and aiming isn't as important.
And how exactly is Bartimaeus pronounced?
I don't know. Maybe this?Adele wrote: And how exactly is Bartimaeus pronounced?
