I have been reading these books and awaiting each sequal ever since I was nine. I remember at first hoping for the day Olaf would go to jail and for the Baudelaire children to roam free. (Even if that contradicts the whole purpose of the story.) When I got a little older, then I hoped that the children would kill Olaf (this was back when I was still innocent.) But I finally learned to accept the guy and now he's one of the coolest characters in the book.

And when I discovered shipping, I had shipped Violet/Quigley like a good little canon girl. But I became wiser and realized Violaf is the way to go. :D

I had grown up a lot since I had picked up a copy of The Bad Beggining for the very first time.

And now, A Series of Unfortunate Events will be completely finished this Friday when The End is released.

And, of course, I shall never forget Violaf. Never.

They said Violet might have been name Lemony if she was a guy. That probably means they think he's dead. Is that the only reason why the Baudelaire parents got married?

Hmm, I also thought it would never end. I've read 1-9, and I've got 10. Chances are that I'll finish them now that they're over.

Have you guys noticed that a ton of series are ending lately?

I finished reading The End last weekend. I think it was overall woefully (i.e. brilliantly) written even though it really bugs me that there are so many things I never got to find out. I love the series. Lemony Snicket is awesome!

I'm guessing now that it's pretty obvious Beatrice married Mr. Baudlaire. I thought that since someone said Violet was pretty.

Yeah, I had thought that ever since I read a fanfiction with that idea a long time ago. I thought it was pretty plausible, and I started liking and supporting that idea.

The open ending thing was the best and most obvious answer.

A lot of people think he jumped the gun, though.

Nah. I like it like this. It can continue on as A Series Of Unfortunate Events that you can read until you cry tears of blood. When one door closes another opens. It's perfectly fine the way it is.

The next book's called Chapter 14. I think it was on his site.
