This is a book idea I had in my head, hope you enjoy. :D
The Djinni Mage.
Matthias crept silently to his masters' study, halfway there he looked up towards the celing. On it was a spider scuttaling towards the oak door. It stopped about two fet from the door after a while the spider turned into a sparrow and flew down to land on Matthias' shoulder.
"Well the only protection on the door is a Seal. It's not that strong though, I should be able to terminate it for about seven minutes." the sparrow said letting out a chirp.
"That should be enough time. Get to it."
The sparrow flew off the boy's shoulder and hopped towards the door again. It seemed to dance as it worked and Matthias couldn't help from watching. After two minutes they both heard a quiet click and the seal dissapeared. Matthias turned the brass knob slowly and opened the door. As he and the sparrow steped in he was suprised to see that it looked exactly the same as it did five years ago. The bookshelf and desk was in the same place. The computer still hidden from veiw by a mountian of papers.
As he looked the sparrow flew over to the desk. He chirped and Matthias came right over.
"What?"
"There's something in this drawer." The sparrow said pointing a brown wing to the bottom drawer.
"Yeah what about it?"
"Something magic, powerful to." before the sparrow could say anymore Matthias opened the drawer and took out a small box.
It was brown and was bound shut by a long chain and a heavy lock. Matthias turned his head this way and that in search of a key but couldn't find any.
"How are we supposed to open this?" The sparrow had a slight look of indignation on his face.
"Have you forgotton who I am? I am Daron mightiest of all the djinn king of the..."
"Yes, yes I heard the speach before." Matthais interupted with an annoyed tune. " Can you open it or not?"
"Well of course." Daon said as he turned into a garogoyle. A big stone demon with huge wings on it's back. A powerful looking tali with spicked at the end and vicious loooking horns and teeth. The gargoyle grabbed the box out of Matthias's hands and broke the chain in two as though it was paper. He had a triuphint look on his face that seemed to say 'told you'.
