"That's easy. It's a Golem."

General Discussion
Anyone else totally like Golems??? I mean, yeah, Bart's the best, but you gotta like Golems! I found instructions and spells on how to make them.

Yo Stroud: Incidently, the book Wizardolodgy say that the only way to make "Seven-League boots", or a "flying Carpet", etc, is to hold a phoenix feath over it for 5-6 hours while chanting this spell.
Not that I blieve either of this stuff could work, but it's all still fun. :magic:

For 5-6 hours? Those magicians must have gotten muscles by the end of that...

Nah, they'd have a spirit levitating it for them.

Yah...probably one that couldn't talk, tho You'd have to have a lot of patience to be able to listen to a spirit whine for 5-6 hours about the feather.

Well, you wouldn't need too strong a spirit for levitating a feather.

If you had a love for crossover fanfics, you could just bring in Hermione from Harry Potter.
Golems are pretty ingenious, though. Especially if you're in the 'DESTROOOOOOOOOOOOY! MWAAAHAHAHAHA!!'-mood.

A seven league boot, then. Only the strong shall survive the whines of doom.

Oh gosh. You brought up the reterded (HP) series on a thread for a good one! I can't believe you!!! :magic:

Golems are pretty ingenious. The perfect creature to take down the magical beings that magicians use... Hmm.

Also, I love the Bartimaeus Trilogy, but I also enjoyed the Harry Potter books [except for possibly the lame-o sixth book, and the fifth book where Harry was all "I'm angry all the time now, RAWR"] I dunno what your beef is with them.
There's no room here for the besterest quote evers, so I'll just leave this blank.

That might get a little cramped. Try hopping with one leg held up out of the way.

Probably. But then again, Ramuthra's powers might not effect a golem, like regular djinns attacts.
The Mona Lisa:

Would it be really difficult for a demon to extend it's hand & remove the manuscript from the Golem's mouth? Assuming someone/something is distracting it?

It would be possible, if the Golem stood still and did nothing about it.
I believe that covers that.
