Well, for those who don't know, I am a huge tennis freak. I dream, eat & sleep tennis. And since 4 grandslams take place every year (plus the Olympics this year) I thought it might be a good idea to start this topic.
Okay, state your favourite men & women's singles player.
I am a huge Roger Federer fan, but his display yesterday was pathetic! Still, I stand by him.
Among the women's it tougher - I liked Justin Henin but she's retired now. So I stick with the Serbians- Ana Ivanovic & Jelena Jankovitch (spl?)

federer. just because he is the only one i bother to watch.

I don't seem to be interested in men's tennis. Women's seem more interesting.
Tatiana Golovin and Maria Sharpova are my favourites.

Tennis? :X I was pleased when breaking my wrist meant that I didn't have to play during PE for a season. A friend of mine's really interested though. I fed her up with my notions soon enough.

:lol: It's expected, he ALWAYS loses French Open to my lover, Nadal.

But my all time favourite player will always be Agassi. I think we're in the 12th year of our relationship? :leader:

Ah, something I did'nt mention before - I don't like Nadal! 2 good reasons :-
1. He is solely the reason why Federer never won the French Open.
2. He keeps flexing his biceps - I think he hopes to scare his opponents. He used to do that a lot before, but after Federer complained he has toned down a bit. Still he has'nt stopped completely.

Still, I don't hate him. Coz he plays well, whether I like it or not.

Nah I hav'nt! But I heard Djokovic is a good imitator, he always called a joker. I guess you'll be pretty happy these days Luciene, what with Nadal becoming world no.1 & winning the Wimbledon & Olympics. I am obviously sad, but like Federer I really feel Nadal deserves it.
