I heard Bartimaeus mention Tchue several time sin ptolemy's gate.

Just who is Tchue? Apparantly, he had an epic battle with Bartimaeus or something.

All that it Known about Tchue is that it was a Fourth Level Afrit, one who was involved in an epic battle with Bartimaeus, and unlike faquarl, liked to speak Mysteriously. Whatever that means.
Anyone remember anything about Barti talking about an Afrit he faught, then hit with a pole and watched as the Afrit sank below the water?
Or am I just loosing it?

Also- one of Bart's boasts- "Tchue cowered in a crack in the earth" and Hoebe or w. it as ate his own tail and blah blah blah

He was a fourth level afrit who fought Bartimaeus in an epic battle. He became eventually so powerful that he barely had to wave to bring destruction. Apparently he is one of the most powerful spirits. He is not dead at least.
Ok how do you know that? I don't remember the book saying anything about that.

From bartis site.
Bart himself sed- "Faquarl wasn't like Tchue; He prided himself on speaking bluntly."

'So inventive and frightening were Tchue's words that he barely ever had to lift a finger to make his enemies flee' (or something like that)comments Barti when comparing Farquarl to numerous other spirits.

Yeah, Ptolemy made Barti go and fight in the Egyptian raids because his cousin requested it, or something. He said that this battle was the highlight. But it wasn't tchue.

I honestly would absolutely love it if Tchue appeared, so often he is mentioned in the books I thought that he would be one of the human-encased spirits. He just seems so... cool.

Yups that correct. However one fascinating thing is that Tchue was os fourth level and was a bringer of great devastation with little but none extertion. Imagine then Honorius and Patterknife (Both of ninth level) armed with abhorrent silver weapons. They must've been killing machines in Prague.

Stroud did mention in one of the answered questions that there are multiple competing "level" systems which don't necessarily line up with each other, so comparing spirit strengths by level is a bit futile without knowing which system we're talking about.

Quite, though I would think Tchue was more powerful.
