I've been inspired to write my essay! *dreamysigh*

I especially adore how he compares writing a novel to the quest of an epic hero, 'cos today, i'm writing on The Odyssey and Leucippe and Clitophon, so it's like this is directed specifically towards me :P

anyway...wanna make him a xmas card?

wow, that article inspired me too. And most of the stages he mentioned are soo true. :cookie:

About the Xmas card - yeah sure, why not.

No Problem, and :welcome:

Ok, I realize this is wishful thinking, but I was hoping we could go bigger than last year. It was awesome, but last year, our (or my) personal goal was to be recognized, which we accomplished with a great deal of success.

This year, let's try to get Stroud to actually visit us. It's actually plausible, considering that Heroes is going to be released shortly, and he will be touring.

Yea, so I was thinking a video or a collection of pictures, featuring "Random Acts of Bartiforums." It's a blatant rip-off of Random Acts of Cheetos, but I doubt he'd catch it, or care.

Basically, I was thinking we get pictures of people such as cashiers reading the book, while working, or if we want to make it christmas-y, get Santa or someone in a nativity scene.

Ok, it sounded much better in my head, but if you think it's too much work, we'll stick to the card.

Actually that's pretty good. But I'm sure we're all lazy bastards... =P

A brilliant idea, if we could get it organized.

If all else fails, photoshop.

Dammit...I completely forgot about that. And really can't afford to participate either. (Well, more so than when I made the same excuse the last two contests as well.)

And I fail. Again. Not even the wonders of Jon can get me out of my wangst.

I think there are training sessions (in my city) that you can sign up for, where they make you sit down and write.

You should see if you got it
