I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this... but I'll give it a try :D
Hope you like it. :3
It's good but I think you made him a bit too non-evil looking.

I think your pic looks like the snitch (sp?) that you fixed up a bit. But it is good.

It shouldn't be in scraps, but the catagory wasn't working.

It's interesting.

Nice and simple.

Did you crayon it?
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

Color pencil. It just looks like that because it's big. The thumbnail view shows a better picture of how it actually looks.

Love the Jabor picture... but Jabor is a lot eviller than that!

Here is the link for a picture I found on the internet that I think depicts Jabor pretty well:

http://ethanbright.files.wordpress.com/ ... nzoman.jpg

It's actually meant for Anubis, the jackal-headed Egyptian god, but that's what Jabor is based off of.

Not sure what he is casting... maybe a Compression. In your Jabor picture, he is probably casting an Inferno. In the books, all he casts are Detonations though. Wonder what that looks like.

Very nice Ptolemy, AgiVega. By the way, I really enjoed "The Forbidden Heir". It was really well written!
"I am Bartimaeus! I am Sakhr al-Jinni, N'gorso the Mighty and the Serpent of Silver Plumes! I have rebuilt the walls of Uruk, Karnak and Prague. I have spoken with Solomon. I have run with the buffalo fathers of the plains. I have watched over Old Zimbabwe till the stones fell and the jackals fed on its people."

Well, there it is: My picture of the other place. I don't even know if it goes here. To say the least, it's extremely lame, I didn't really try. Anyway, the shadow of the boy's face in the background is Bart, halfway into his Ptolemy form. Kitty is the ball with the bits coming off. Please give me your opinion, but be nice. I really need to get a tablet.

A fractal generator is simply a program that allows you to create fractals.

Time depends on quite a lot - in the default mode, Apophysis provides 50 randomly generated fractals, which can then be altered. Alternatively, you can start from scratch, choosing all the details of the graph yourself. Picking a randomly generated image out of the 50 might take a few minutes, then a few minutes more to alter it, then a few more minutes (depending on size and quality) for it to calculate the final render. Starting from scratch, depending on how much practice you've had and whether you've got something specific in mind, could take anywhere from two minutes to an hour.
As soon as I saw the word 'quantum', it made me think of another really good book I recently read: Timeline, by Michael Chrichton. But the Bartimaeus trilogy is still better.

Man, that was one rubbish explanation of fractals. I've learnt a lot in five years...
