Some Questions

Answered Questions
Dear Mr. Stroud,
If you ever read this I just want to say thanks so much for taking the time! I love your books, especially the Amulet of Samarkand (it's my fave from the trilogy!). I've never read a fantasy book that has such good humor mixed with just enough action and adventure.

So, to the questions..

1. Are you ever going to go on another tour?

2. What happens to demons when they are killed, for instance, in combat?

Again, thanks for taking the time! I look forward to reading your other books (especially the ones that are out and i have to get around to reading).

Hi Joanna,

Huge apologies for taking so long to reply to your question. I've been scribbling hard on a new book, hence the silence!

I certainly hope that I'll go on another tour before too long, but there's nothing immediately in the pipeline. Last year I did quite a lot - going to the USA, Australia and New Zealand, for example, as well as one in the UK. At the moment I'm concentrating on writing, but I'm sure that when the book comes out (no dates yet) I'll be on the road again. I'll let you know via my website and also here at the forum when things get more concrete. Hope to meet you before too long!

Well, demons are mortal, just as we are, though their nature is otherwise pretty different. So - when they're killed, they're killed! They don't go back to the Other Place, but are removed from all knowable spheres of existence. Whether there's an afterlife for them (and us) is an issue not addressed in the books!

All the best,

Jonathan
