The ZetaBoards software which this forum runs on has a received an upgrade. of sorts
  • Forum jump added to Active Topics page
  • Spoiler BBCode tags now have an optional title parameter. Example:

    Code: Select all

    [spoiler=Ptolemy's Gate]Nat dies.[/spoiler]
    [+] Spoiler
    Nat dies.
  • Image BBCode tag now supports resizing. Example:
  • More BBCode buttons. (Known bugs are, no quote button, me and divider include closing tags which you don't need. In each case typing out the correct BBCode will work).
  • Forum load speed decrease - the forum should load faster on all pages.

    Features that will arrive soon(tm)
  • Double post merge - if you make a double post within 24 hours it will merge with your previous one automatically.
  • Email + PM subscription to topics. You are notified if a topic has a new reply via Email or PM.
  • Reduction in google ads. Google ads in topic view will be removed. Google ads elsewhere other than the index page may also be removed.

This includes the spamzone?

Are you referring to the double post merge feature? If so, would be global. I can't imagine double posting being particularly critical to the spamzone though.

It's not something we can control on a per-subforum basis. Global only.

Double post merge now works.

Any double posts within 24hrs will be merged.

Any double posts after 24 hours will be treated as per normal.

Double post is cool, though it sucks for the spamzone, and it means we can't bug the newbies about it. :(

This is so neat!
The double posting thing as a plus side too. You don't need to edit posts anymore (so as not to double post). You can just type in the fast reply box again & the 2 merges. Somewhat less of a job.

You can now track topics. Click on the link at the very bottom of the page, on the right.

You will notified via PM or Email. Should be useful for tracking any questions you ask Jonathan.
On any page where there were two google ads there is now one.
