Ozy Mouler

So I've just pre ordered my copy of Ring of Solomon, and I was so shamefully giddy that I decided to man up and come out of the fandom closet.
It is National Coming-Out Day in the US, after all!
And yep, I'm Ozy, I guess, and I suck at introductions. I'm not sure what possessed me when I made that username, though it probably had something to do with reading Watchmen at the time. I really only signed up to reap the benefits of membership, which was basically devouring the Question and Answer board (since I am an unbelievably lazy brat and didn't feel up to actual participation), but I was hit with a deluge of guilt and decided I ought to give back to the community. I'm kind of a long time lurker of this forum, but I haven't posted a single time - which is exceedingly creepy, I know. I haven't been paying attention to these forums for a while up until now though, so you can sleep safely. : D
My total involvement in the fandom has consisted of looking at pretty fan art and ruining my copy of Ptolemy's Gate by toting it on my travels. The result is that it has been everywhere from Alaska to Japan (the long way around). Although perhaps 'everywhere' is a Bartimaeus-esque extension of the truth.
I like to draw and write, though do neither very well. I did a bunch of comics of PG's prologue, but photoshop broke down and I left the prints in China woops. I have done other BT fan art, but it is... regrettably atrocious and horrifyingly ancient.
I ship footstool/hammer.
I'll be getting an obligatory welcome cookie now, I suppose.
SO. Question for you all. How do you pronounce 'Bartimaeus'? I switch between 'bar-ti-MAY-us' and 'bar-ti-MAI-us', though I think the former is correct.
