Why do Halloween costumes have to be so expensive...I really wanted to wear one to school. ><

Yes!!!

1) We only have 2 cleaners and the school is way too big for only two people so when we go in in the morning the place is still like filthy ...!! ^o)

2)The toilets are gross!!!Not only are they not clean they're those horrid Turkish ones (so basically they are a hole on the floor and they are supposed to be changing them but they haven't yet) ...

3)They need to make a zebra crossing outside the school because someones gonna get killed the way the cars drive past ...

4)We don't have a school nurse since the other one left last year ...

5)The fire alarm isn't working .

6)We have central heating but they don't seem to bothered about turning it on so we have to freeze but the teachers and headmasters office are sweltering hot because they turn their air-conditioning on ...!!!

7)High school students have to pay for there English and French books ...

8) They want to make High School 4 years instead of the three that it is now ...

9)The government only spends 6% on schools but 8% on military (which is ridiculous considering were such a tiny country) ...

10) They are trying to pass a new law called ''Ο νόμος του Καποδιστρια'' which I really can't be bothered to explain to you about...

11)The computers are like ancient (seriously there from like 98 and there on dial up) and they are supposed to have ordered new ones ...

12)The chemistry lab needs to be updated and they need more equipment .

There are another 5 which I can't remember ..... So all in all (as you can see) we have got bloody good reasons do to a sit-in ...!!!

Yes, I think you do have some pretty good reasons there..

Of course we do....!!

We don't do sit-ins just for the heck of it you know.... :P ...

But that doesn't mean we can't have fun while were doing them .... :D

Some pretty good reasons (sounds like the custodians at my school...), but why is it so bad that there will be 4 years of school instead of 3, it's like that in a lot of countries (up until a few years ago over here we even had an optional grade 13)?

Most places have high school at 4 years. One extra year usually isn't too much since you've already been there 3. But considering your school's condition....

I don't know exactly why people don't want high school to be 4 years ... I think its something to do with the ''Πανελλήνιες'' which are exams that you sit at the end ... So normally here you get the option of going to college or you stay on until you're 17-18 and then you give the exams and that mark is the one you get into a university with....

But those exams are really hard so instead of making them less hard or something like that , they are probably going to add another year on and then you still have to do the exams...So the seniors this year are probably going to have to do another year.... :blink:

That's just one of the reasons ... Our school can't do much about that , but the students in Athens can ...

Thanx for that... :P ....It's not really as bad as it sounds...I suppose we complain a lot but some things like the cleaner and the toilets are bad...It's the headmasters fault really....Our old one was REALLY good!!!But we've got another one this year and he is completely crap!!! ^o) ....He just sits in his office all day and tries to suspend people all the time...!!! :ermm: ....It was great last year , but this year he just refuses to do anything ... Like he hasn't replaced the nurse , or fixed the fire alarm some kids broke....I wish he would just gte sacked or something ....It would save us a lot of trouble... :P

....I dunno....Probably because we haven't been back at school that long...The student school body has put in a claim for him to be changed though...He probably will in a week or so...Hopefully....!!! :D

We are having a vacation this week, and next week, going back to school, we write tests from EVERY subject! Even on PE lesson we write a test about the olimpycs! x.X What the hell... And I don't have time to study, I really don't want to... Why isn't life a big vacation? T_T

Well that is true. But 4 days for a weekend would be awesome =D
