So, Abel, it would be better to give in to the terrorists? There are deaths, sure, but not in quite the same way as the government-sanctioned mass murders they had before. Better to hope that they'll be able to look after themselves than to give in and restore a dictator.

well they are going to have to do that some day. they will never wipe out terrorism. when the armys leave another dictator will rise up and it will start all over again.

I doubt the Americans will leave until they're sure the Iraqis are capable of looking after themselves, and when they're capable of looking after themselves, democracy will stay put.

which is not going to happen for a VERY long time...though if they get nuked (iraq) the americans may pull out. i just dont see why they had to stick their noses in. they could have just left them alone and sorted out the problems in their own country THEN gone and tried to cure the world.
