Any rubix cube pattern can be solved in a certain number of turns, something like 17...

You'd need a very impressive computer program and a LOT of CPU power to work out exactly what 17 moves are applicable in any particular situation.

you are speaking to a very stupid person - I haven't ever come close to finishing one

(well actually not so much stupid as impatient. my math-happy dad got me one for Christmas a couple years ago and I got so annoyed at it I hurled it out the window)

That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

Well, I did finish one. The 2 x 2 x 2 version, Have a 4 x 4 x 4 one, that I haven't bothered to solve.

haha, Mine is the 3x3x3, I saw the 4 one but It would never get finished if I did it. I hate them so much, they are really addicting, I use it for 10 min and then I have nightmares about how I could possibly solve it..... Ah

You threw it out the window? You?

My Dad solved it once. He had a friend back in highschool who could do it in about five minutes every time, no matter how bad you scrambled it up. I've never been able to solve it.

@ Post: I've been meaning to ask this for a while; what the hell is that thing in your avatar? I think it looks a bit like pacman on crack, but could you tell me what it really is?

Gah...I know someone like that.

It's one of those avatars from the boards galleries. But it's better than that weird blue pentacle he used to have.

A what?

Edit: There's preloaded avatars on here? How did I never notice that before!?

Rubix gets too frustrating for me. But I love the sudoku puzzles, those things are the most addicting thing ever.

No idea. That's why I like it.

Sudoku's boring. It's too simple.

I hate Sudoku's too, they annoy me.

My parent's are addicted to them. They're littered all over our house.

My mum does sudoku. I annoy her by finishing ones she's been stuck on, when I can be bothered (which is about never).
