This one's good:

An unemployed man walks into a shipping warehouse on the wharf. He goes to the foreman and asks for a job. The foreman says he'll give him a job if he can figure out a problem with 10 bushels of apples. Nine of the bushels are full of apples weighing 1 pound each. But one bushel contains apples weighing 1.1 pound each. All of the bushels contain the same number of apples. The foreman wants to know which bushel has the heavy apples. There is a scale, but he can only make one measurement on the scale. Making only one weight measurement, how can the man find which bushel contains the heavy apples? He can include any combination of bushels or apples on the scale.

... Dumps 5 apples on one scale and 5 on the other. There'll be a marginal difference...If it ain't one of the mechanical ones...

10 bushels can't be done with one measurement... it can definitely be done with three, and possibly two (I can't be bothered to check) but not with one.

He should find a different job.

Nope, it can be done. You can take out apples and measure them, and you can measure two or more bushels together if you want

The guy takes from each bushel different number of apples in following sequence: from first one he takes one apple, from second he takes two apples, from the third one he takes three apples, ..., from the tenth bushel he takes 10. If the scale shows the total weight 55,* pounds - for exapmle 55.6 pounds, he knows that the sixth bushel contains those weighing 1.1 pound each...that means, the number in the decimal places will show him which bushel contains the heavy apples.

A boat has a ladder hanging off the side that has six rungs. Each rung is one foot apart. The bottom rung is one foot from the water. The tide rises at 12 inches every 15 minutes. High tide peaks in one hour. When the tide is at it's highest, how many rungs are under water?

An orange farmer goes to the nursery to buy 10 orange trees. The owner says that if the farmer plant the 10 trees in 5 rows of 4, he can have the trees for free. How does the farmer do it?

Edit: It's a shape that's on this page.
