Exactly what I mean, just not all of it.
Plus add Nats adventures, and then Queezles'. Then a sperate book just for backinfo on everything in the Barti universe.

But, I mean, no offense to her or anything...
Never mind that Eragon is the biggest Mary Sue to ever find himself in a published book...

Queezle, you can't write passionate rants on characters calling them 'Mary Sues' if you let Eragon slide on by. Paolini even stated once that Eragon started out as a self-insert. Even Ginny is better than him. (But I give her more flames cuz JK is usually good with writing characters and I fail to see how she could have flooping 'ecked up like that.)

I agree, Ginny is better.
Eragons just the best character in the book, doesn't make it a good character.
And Vinr, what about the shiz bewteen AoS and GE, then the stuff between GE and PG??

I think we have another one Gladstone...
ah well, he'll learn soon enough.
I still think one book is The stuff between AoS-GE, then the stuff between GE-PG.
Then another book, a big one, with Bart's adventures.
Then an encyclopedia.

ya, i was thinking something with Bart between AoS and GE... and some other random Bart adventure thousands of years ago...Egypt? Greece?it'd be nice if queezle was in it 2. o and i really don't like the character eragon, i like the book, but not the character... i don't really have a favorite character in that book. in the Bartimaeus Trilogy it's Bart of course.
I refuse to talk to anyone who hasn't read the Bartimaeus Trilogy. Guess I'm not going to be able to ask my mom for that raise in my allowance... School might be hard too...

I don't truly like the Inheritance Cycle. Seems ripped off. Just going to read the new one cause I already read the first 2.
I don't know about a new book though...
I don't even feel like reading Eldest right now, which I haven't read yet. I agree, Eragon definitely has some cliche qualities, but he's a good character (either that, or I don't pay attention to the characters much when I'm reading books). The only thing I like about Inheritance is Saphira! She's awesome! XD

Another book?
That would be totally AWESOME!!!

That's wat i'll wish for on my next birthday

The bad thing is that i have to wait for a little less than a year for my next B-day.

Naw, if there's another book, then that's lagging a great series unwillingly forward. Unless it's a spin-off type.
But Jonathan Stroud has lots of other books already published. Another one's just been finished.

Very.
There would be the interesting opertunity of explaining his exploits from various POV's as well, for example Jabor's in Egypt, Ramuthra's in AoS...
It doesn't just have to be Barti's adventures.
What about Faquarl? Jabor? Ramuthra?
We know Ramuthra had been summoned before.
And Nouda: His awesomely destructive exploits are sure to wow...
Queezle's, Honorious'... the whole crowd.

Where did it say Rammy was summoned before? Barti reckoned that it was his first time in AoS.

But yeah, the idea is definitely a great one, but I s'pose it'll only appeal to already dedicated fans, so even if he did write and release it, it would probs fail.

Logic, friend.
English ain't been around as long as everything else, and it changes.
People don't use words, or use new words, or words have different meanings.
Yet, Ramuthra spoke somewhat aged english (formation and such) when he speaks.
Logic's and wonderful thing.

That's not necessarily true. I don't think spirits learn languages. If it was that way, the first time they were summoned in a language unknown to them, they'd be unable to perform the tasks imposed by their masters. His use of the archaic language may be only a result of preference or wisdom.
