Whoa. I just read her thing about herself. After deciphering it I was a little insulted. Pretty much no real goth is a satanist, they do not want to kill themselves, Marylin Manson isn't actually considered a "gothic artist" he's just shock rock, goths are usually into intellectual pursuits, (such as learning to spell properly) and true "satanism" has nothing to do with killing people or raising the devil.
If I am correct, the "devil" is a good deity, that is only loosely associated with Lucifer. (Don't hold me to that though, I don't know the actual details behind the religion, just the fake one.)
EDIT: Whoops, never mind. They do not believe in god or Satan, the "devil" talked about is simply a representational of indvidual. (Again, I'm not entirely certain, this book is quite confusing.)
