Um, Kitty did, actually. She got herself into it. And Nat was being stupid and saved her life.

Not amazingness, the magician was old, lonely, and in desperate need of an assistant. It's wasn't easy, remember the summoning she did before Bart? She made some minor errors.

And you forgot that when she summononed Barti, he laughed in her face. And then he asked her to trust him enough to step out--and don't call her an idiot that she didn't. Barti already made it known his distain for humans, how could Kitty have known he wasn't going to slaughter her the second she stepped out? But she didn't step out, and was totally being human.

And Kitty got into the Resistance because she was discovered in a court trying to sue a magician, but totally failing because she was 12 and naive. And the resistance wasn't that great. They robbed and stole for their greedy leader. And that organization was a puppet to Makepeace. But all Kitty saw was that their theivery got them in the papers and she wanted revenge. If she was a Sue, she would have realized it and ditched the organization. She only realized it when she saw her friends die and she was all alone.

So yeah, what does the Resistance have to do with her alleged perfection?
