Really? I thought slash was just any relationship with unoriginal characters, like Mr. Person/Ms. Human and things like that. "Ships" has never even come up on DA.

Ok, I'll admit, there's one good thing about shipping. People can make truly great art of it. I'm not really an anti-shipper, I just don't really care. Sometimes I think "Oh my God, they could get together, that was a big hint." or "Why would she like that guy? He's an idiot." But other than that I just like to read the books. I go, "oh, they're in love? that's cool, whatever." I don't really care.
