So, anyone attempt it this month, or know someone else who did? What are your thoughts on NaNoWriMo?

I'd started on it (finished last year), made a decent dent in it... Then I lost my memory stick, my laptop decided it was going to stop working for no apparent reason, and then my house lost its internet connection somehow. Yeah, it's been that kind of week. Needless to say, I lost what I had. Ah well, next year I'm going to make a proper outline and back up files and everything.

Yeah, it's always a good idea to back up your files, and there is always next year. And hey, at least you wrote something write?

If you don't mind me asking, what was your story about? If you'd feel more comfortable not talking about it, I'd totally understand.

I found the memory stick! On December first. *facepalm* At the library, of course I don't think to look in the place I go to once a week...

It wasn't much of a story, more of a series of journal entries, whatever I was thinking about at the time. I had some ideas but didn't have the time to develop them. Next year I'm going to do some outlines and stuff beforehand, do the thing properly.
