Most of my friends have siblings. But only one. And yeah, it has become more common to have only one child than have 2+ children.

Yeah, population is falling like anything in developed countries. Japan has so many pension and old-age problems because of that. And I read that half the children born in 2007 in Japan have a life expectancy of 108 years.
High time to increase retirement age. And pension can seriously no longer be funded by the working population (i.e. as tax payed by them to the Government). Nations could go bankrupt funding all that. The working population must be made to save a part of their salary as they earn.
