Alexandria 143 B.C.
I¹ walked through the newly furnished door. It had been nearly a year since I hade been back, and they were still trying to repair the damage and ride of the burn marks.²
As I was walking through I started to realize a few people were staring at me. Passing by an urn I saw the form id chosen unknowingly. The very same boy there humans at the temple had seen slaughtered by the princes demons almost a year ago stared back at me.
All of a sudden a wave of memories flowed over me. Had this sort of emotion happed before I met him I probably would have devoured everyone within a hundred mile radius. Yet in this point in time I felt like I was still Ptolemaeuss servant. ³ I stood there trying to make Ptolemaeus proud with my actions, missing him more than ever.
Wasnt this supposed to be a human emotion?
I wasnt sure, but I did know that I needed to get out of the retched temple of which my dearest master died, and finish my charge so I could get out of the disgraceful world.
²Not all of them were on the fall wall where he had been when he dismiss me as expected, some were at reandom spots. He must have still put up a fight after he dismiss me.
³Much to my dismy I wasnt of course, and in case you were wondering how I was here; another magician had summoned me and charged me to build some stupid giant wall to keep out all the invaders is all he said with the charge. Of course being the cunning fellow that I am I noted that he didnt say I had to build it quickly, so I snuck out for a bit while he wasnt looking.
