Harlequin? Underwood? Whitewell?

Harlequin was overly-dramatic, Underwood was paranoid and unambitious, and Whitwell was...well...kind of mean.

Mr. Button was cool, though. Most people usually aren't so casual about having one of their legs torn off by a nightmarish creature from another dimension.

Button's fault was that he was kinda weird.

And yes, you already pointed out the other faults of the other magicians.

But Whitewell's awesome. Button comes in second. (In my opinion.)

Harlequin's interesting...idiosyncratic spies are cool. Makepeace is laughable for being a Shakespeare-wannabe. I get some pervert! vibes from him though. I remember reading about this giggly actor who likes to hang around him. Guh, luckily Stroud didn't really elaborate on their relationship...*shudder*

I like Jane and Whitwell best. Whee!
Nothing to see here, move along.

Mr. Button reminded me of Ptolemy.
hi there

Ptolemy was seeking peace between spirits and humans.

Button was just observing spirits for the sake of knowledge. He wasn't going to actually do anything.

Whitwell was awesome! After Nat, she's my favorite magician!
The Mona Lisa:

What's Whitwell's level? 9?
She's powerful anyway. She actually fought back in the demon revolt, unlike numerous other magicians...

I thought Harlequin was a bit weird in the head. Must've been Prague...

Underwood was an idiot. I didn't like him at all. Who would let their adopted son be beat up?
I wish I were a cat-dragon

It was Lovelace. Underwood was scared, and he's not exactly brave. What can you expect?

But giving Nat those draconian punishments after Nat was getting beaten up was totally unessassary.

Just to add on the Makepeace thing...it was a little boy who was the giggling actor. And I got the impression he was nervous and tipsy.

He was a little boy? I was thinking he was about 16-18 for some reason...

Well, yeah, I believe so. Fourteen to ten.

Ahh, I thought you ment 5 or 6. 10-14 is close to what I thought.

Little being a very general word you know.

Grammar is stinking tonight for me.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

Yes, it can, but the combination of little boy, made me think of a small kid about 5-6 years old.

Yeah.

Hence the explaination of the terms I use little boy sometimes.

"You belong in Gryffindor,

Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
