Some people are just natural talents at falling.

I fall a lot. though no one laughs if they know what's good for them. I am the evil guy in my school. Well, that's the projection of me. Actually I am a nice guy. Though I do laugh when anyone else falls.

I had an idea for the anarchist and the oyster where there was a spell of indefinite confinement on an afrit inside an oyster, Nat is struggling to open it at the same time as barti realises barti is not to close to him so we get a nice bit where he is running silently hoping nat cops it, to add the embarrasment nat gets blown into a manure cart.

Barti could be over-exaggerating or bieng sarcastic.

Bumping is allowed if it serves real purpose and there's no spam.

The triple post thing isn't really good though.

Nat could've almost died of embarrassment. ;)

I wrote a fanfic on the Anarchist and the Oyster. Totally different plot though.

I had a dream about it.

But it was a musical so I won't be sharing that nightmare.

where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

I think it will either be in the past or in the future. Or maybe in another country.
:ninja4: Possible idea, Takes place in America this time and the Americans summon Bart to try and get info on the London empire :pirate1:

Anyways... :cookie?:

It kind of sounds...I mean it's a good idea but if it's done wrong it could be really crappy.

Tricky. One of the many charms the Trilogy has were Bartimaeus and Nathaniel's interactions.

Barti's thoughts near the end.

John stroud needs to make another trilogy. He just has to. You can't make only three books on bartimaeus.

... and Nathaniel.

Just wanted to throw that out there.

I highly doubt there will be another one. And as much as I love them, I really don't want there to be. The ending was good and it should stay that way.
There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

I totally agree with Athena. I love them, but I don't think there will be one, and it might ruin the storyline, and our current opinions. And although Nathaniel died, and somethings were left un-answered, it ended completely and perfectly, because
Nathaniel immitated Ptolemy by dieing and saving Bartimaeus.

I think the story is best left alone. I'd like to see some short stories or what not but nothing on the scale of a trilogy.

Have you been to Jonathon Stroud's site? There is a short story narrated by Bartimaeus in journal format that tells of some random summon adventure. nothing that great, but still full of witty Bartimaeus! I wouldn't mind things like that, little things like side Bartimaeus adventures.

Yes.

If you haven't seen my earlier post, I and some other people suggested an encyclopedia.

His site also hints at Kitty writing the history of things.
