magical resistance this time

General Discussion
after the third book do you think resisistance got to the max level and stayed there so magic was usuless, or do you think that maybe it falls a bit after a while.

Well grammar aside, it would taper off, bart says so. When people are exposed to less magic the resistance fades as its not in use, though over several generations.

It fell before, so why not now? Eventually, it would run out. Especially when the magicians have mended their ways, I think.
It was stated that the highest level of resistance is 30% of the population.

that's isn't a lot. d'you mean the population of London or of Britain?
life is odd. you come in, you grow, you shrivel, and you leave.
i mean what's the point????
Well, it was the population of some empire or another. He stated 30% of the commoner population in an empire.

It was definately of the Empire.
He didn't say that's the maximum level, he said that's the minimum level he'd expect for a revolution. The british empire never got to that level, their revolution was through "different" means.

i expect most resistance would be in london, where the most djinn's were and magicians as well

Yes, I think that would be the place where most resillience is, seeing as they boast that they're the "magic capital of the world", but then that might be complete and utter bull.

Yeah because there's so much propaganda from the government that they even have a department to create propaganda.
Boy, I'd hate to live as I commoner in London; it's like your life has been taken over and is being controlled.

Resistane builds up where there has been lots of magic for a long time.
Simple.
Resistance builds enough for an empire to fall, and the center of magic becomes somewhere else, where over a few centuries the resistance will build up again.
Vicious cycle.
