I noticed that although i go on bartiforums a lot, I don't really know anyone personally, so I'd like to get to know individuals better and perhaps make some friends with the same interests as me, and maybe we could be pen pals or something..

so, i'm interested in:
reading(of course), Artemis Fowl(of course), the bartimaeus trilogy, harry potter, star wars, pirates of the caribbean, pirates in general, vampires and the 3 musketeers by alexandre dumas. Oh yes, and books by libba bray.

If you want to get to know people I'd suggest getting instant messenger software such as MSN Messenger (there are others, but most people tend to use MSN or Yahoo, both of which you can talk to using the latest software).

Just post more...it's really the best way to make people know you better. (and vice versa)

no, messenger is the best way, you can find thing outs which other people wouldn't want to read on a forum

i have a problem with msn, though, it keeps telling me i need to get version 7 and i do and then the next time i start my computer it says the same thing.

but i do have aim and google.

You don't have to have Version 7

You can run it on the old Windows Mesenger if necessary.

it won't let me load it though unlessi upgrade.

7 isn't the latest version anyway. It's Windows Live Messenger, version 8. http://get.live.com/messenger/overview

I don't have msn, and it would be pointless because the only time I use the computer is during school. I used to have an AOL but I should make a new one because I forget my password, I told Anuk I would but I haven't gotten to it yet. I might do that today, plus I can go to the public library I guess and IM there.
