As some of you may know, Lockwood and co got a Netflix TV show (of 1 season. immediately cancelled RIP). What were your opinions and impressions of it? Personally I think it was a good adaptation, and the special effects were great. Some of the story changes I liked (the George and Hopkins subplot) some I was eh about (more focus on locklyle romance).

What did you think?

Absolutely loved it. The detail work was impressive, up to the exact look of the cloth hiding the skull during the interview. Portland Row was extremely cozy, the actors amazing and the ghosts were really well done. Didn't really understand the Kipps-asking-Lucy-out-on-a-date scene though, I am trying to ignore it. Am absolutely gutted about the cancellation, would have loved to see more skull banter and Holly.

Oh man I'd forgotten show!Kipps did that, good grief.

Yeah, a lot of people were upset at the cancellation and there's even a movement trying to get it renewed, and a whole website dedicated to the fandom (Calling itself LockNation), which is incredibly wild to me.
