First of all, I would like to say that I love the Bartimaeus trilogy, especially the footnotes! But I have some questions regarding Ptolemy's Gate.

1. Why is Kitty not more emotional about Nathaniel's death. All she says is "so much for you promises." Nathaniel sacrificed himself for her, but why doesn't she show more gratitude, maybe cry a little, or reveal her true feelings for him and it seems to me thatKitty seem to get over Nathaniel's death so quickly...

Thanks for your question and sorry for being slow to answer.

I don't think Kitty gets over Nat's death quickly at all. You're right that she doesn't go about weeping or being very demonstrative, but don't forget that she's pretty much alone - she hasn't got a good friend to talk to about it - and also that she's become pretty hardened over the years. She IS upset by Nat's death, and she DOES recognise the sacrifice he (and - she thinks - Bart) made, but she keeps her emotions pretty tightly under control. Only a few days beforehand, Nat was her mortal enemy, so it's a very complex series of feelings to have. I think it will take her quite a long time to come to terms with her thoughts about N and B, and that's one of the reasons why she feels she has to leave London. She has to go off and come to terms with herself, and what happened to Nat and Bart in London. We don't know whether she'll ever speculatively try summoning Bart again... It's always possible...

after reading some of these answeres (lots actualy) i firmly beleive that you are hinting that a new book may be made. with the kitty stuff and all.

It really depends. He can just make a small supplement installment, or something of the sort. I think another entire new book is a little too much to hope for right now. We'll see.
